Indicator Purpose

The purpose of this indicator is to monitor access and use of sustainable energy articles as a result of TSA projects that seek to increase reliance on clean energy sources in communities.

Indicator Guidance

Definition of key concepts        

  • Sustainable energy articles: Energy sources that are renewable, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, and geothermal power.

What we measure:

  • Total count of sustainable energy articles provided / distributed / installed

Who we measure:

  • Data to be disaggregated by:

    a.       gender (mandatory)

    b.       disability/minority/socio-economic status/age/rural-urban/educational status (when relevant)

    c.        Type of article

    d.       Type of intervention (distribution vs. installation)

How we measure:

  • Tally of articles distributed/installed, based on reception records from those who received the articles.

  • To be reported on at the end of the project.
