Indicator Guidance

Definition of key concepts

·       Successfully reintegrated: Children or residents who are reunified with their families or caregivers or received appropriate alternative care services.

·       Children or residents(actively case managed): the children or residents who are counted in the denominator for this indicator should only be the total number of children who the Salvation Army are actively case managing. A case management or Family Tracing or Reunification (FTR) process will usually include registration, assessment, tracing/support planning, reunification/ placement and follow-up. If a case has been closed because the child/family has moved out of the operational area, the child turned 18 years old or the child died, etc., these cases should not be counted.

·       Community: through formal or informal alternative care placement of children in line with the Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children.

·       Given Period: to be determined by reporting period
