Indicator Purpose

To measure the reach of TSA support services to people who are at risk of MSHT exploitation.

Indicator Guidance

Definition of key concepts

  • Vulnerable to MSHT: A person who experiences one or more factors that make them vulnerable to exploitation in a situation of MSHT. According to the United Nations, there are nine ‘push factors’ or conditions affecting susceptivity to someone experiencing MSHT: children, gender, poverty, social and cultural exclusion, limited access to education, political instability, war and conflict; social, cultural and legal frameworks, movement/forced migration, demand.

  • Received support: The provision of appropriate material assistance that meets the needs of a person at risk of MSHT exploitation. For example, facilitating entry into secure employment, facilitating access to school, foster care, child protection, parenting courses or provision of safe migration education or assistance.

  • Total number of people vulnerable to MSHT who have used TSA services or referred by TSA to support services

Who we measure:

  • Data to be disaggregated by:

    a.       gender (mandatory)

    b.       Age status (adult/child)

    c.        Disability status

How we measure:

  • Service case notes

  • Project activity reports

  • To be reported annually
