S-MOD5 - # (number) of MSHT survivors who have received support from TSA to receive legal services.

Indicator Purpose

To measure the reach of TSA's support to MSHT survivors through the provision of legal support.

Indicator Guidance

Definition of key concepts

  • MSHT survivors: A person who has been impacted from an exploitative situation, including human trafficking and modern slavery. MSHT can take form as: commercial sexual exploitation, online sexual exploitation, labour exploitation, servitude, forced marriage, forced criminality, organ harvesting or child soldier.

  • Support: This could include professional or formal legal advice from a person who trained in the legal profession and advises on criminal legal matters or the provision of psychosocial support provided through the legal process.

  • Legal Services: Include assistance with any legal matter, including but not limited to family law, immigration, impingement, or the criminal justice process

  • Total number of MSHT survivors who have received support from The Salvation Army in the legal process.

Who we measure:

  • Data to be disaggregated by:

    a.       Gender (mandatory)

    b.       Age Status (child/ adult)

    c.        Disability status

    d.       Form of Trafficking (sexual exploitation, labor exploitation, other)

How we measure:

  • Case notes

  • Activity reports

  • To be reported annually
